A letter for notifying a homeless applicant - following your acceptance of a s.198(1) referral - that:

• The council now owes them the main s.193(2) housing duty.

The letter:

• Asks the applicant to contact you, so you can arrange to offer them temporary accommodation.
• Explains the circumstances in which the main duty will end.
• Explains how they may ask for a review of the two councils' agreement that the referral conditions are satisfied.
