Successful s.80 local connection referral - 2nd notification to applicant
When you have successfully referred a homelessness case to another council under s.80, use this letter to:
Notify a homeless applicant that their case (and the duty to secure accommodation) has now transferred to another local authority, because that other council has agreed that the local connection referral conditions are met.
Explain the implications of this decision to the applicant, including the ending of the section 82 interim accommodation duty, the need for the applicant to contact the notified authority to discuss future accommodation arrangements, and the date they must move out of their temporary accommodation.
Give reasons for the decision that the referral conditions are met (so as to comply with the requirements set out in section 84 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014).
