Warning a homeless applicant who's asked for stored property to be moved to a specific location that the section 93 protection of belongings duty will end
If a homeless applicant whose belongings are being protected under the HWA 2014, s.93 duty asks for their property to be moved to a specific location, the local authority may end the duty, but must first notify the applicant of the consequences of taking the requested action.
This letter enables the authority to provide this pre-discharge notification.
