Ending main housing duty – because applicant refused Part 6 offer from housing register

A letter for notifying a homeless applicant that the main housing duty has ended because:

  • the applicant has refused an offer of accommodation from the housing register (i.e. an allocation of social housing).

The main duty can be ended for this reason under section 193(7) of the Housing Act 1996.
