Use this letter when assisting a client who has applied in Wales or an allocation of social housing, to request information to which they're entitled under section 167(4A) of the Housing Act 1996.

The letter also asks for a copy of the client's housing file records, under the Data Protection Act 2018.

The letter can also be used if - in addition to applying for an allocation of housing - your client has applied for help as homeless and you wish to also obtain the homelessness records.
