Reg.7(2) 'minded to find' letter - notifying deficiencies in original decision, and inviting further representations

A letter enabling a reviewing officer to notify a homeless applicant that there was a deficiency or irregularity in the original decision, that is subject to a review under section 202 of the Housing Act 1996.

The letter enables you to comply with Regulation 7(2) of the Homelessness (Review Procedure etc) Regulations 2018.

The letter informs the applicant that they can make oral representations and further written representations.

The letter is a generic version, which can be used for a variety of different types of decision (e.g. when reviewing different types of s.184 decision on what duty is owed, or when reviewing different types of discharge decision).

The section setting out your reasons can be augmented by copying and pasting sections from the corresponding section 184 decision template letter, or the relevant discharge of duty template.
