One of the my most popular resources is the text of the homelessness legislation, in its amended form.

Most of us working in housing are aware that the Renters' Rights Act 2025 received Royal Assent last week. This is a very significant piece of legislation. It will result in many changes to landlord and tenant law, including the abolition of assured shorthold tenancies and section 21 possession notices in England.
The Act will also - in due course - make a small number of changes to the legal safety net for homeless persons in England.
I've uploaded a version of Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996, showing how the text will be amended. I hope it helps those of you who work in homelessness and are preparing for the forthcoming changes.
I am also providing training on how these changes will affect the administration of homelessness applications in England. Feel free to email me if interested.
